- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the oil and gas industry
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, business development and marketing to drive successful sales initiatives
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients
- Responsible for driving business growth within the US market
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in the OEM, turbomachinery and Oil and Gas industry
- Strong understanding of Oil and Gas market dynamics, trends, and challenges
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify market trends and develop sales strategies
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth
- Established network in the US Oil and Gas sector
- Experience with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office suite
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Based in Houston, TX and willing to travel as needed
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year and is commensurate with the level of experience.
